Giorgi Chkheidze is a conceptual artist who lives and works in Tbilisi. He embraces minimalism as a universal Langauge. He perfected his distinctive technique of layering acrylics, a method that lends depth and resonance to his minimalist compositions. Giorgi’s canvases characterized by random natural and geometric forms, created a feeling of vast, open space and a sense of being completely immersed in texture. Each work defies categorization, oscillating between the tangible and intangible, the seen and unseen.
