A PERFECT TEAPOT
We are inviting applications for a new residency program and workshop "A Perfect Teapot" which will embark from 5
– 11 December 2021. The focus of the workshop is preliminary on the function of drinking vessels, making the parallels within a history, craft, technology, utility and rituals. The process itself
serves as an incarnation into the wide variety of approaches, through the lens of the most intimate and accessible
vessel – a tea set.
Aside from aesthetics and creativity, functionality will
become an essential aspect of the objects and will be gradually used to serve guests during the tea ceremonies in Ambassadori Kachreti Golf Resort .
The workshop will run for 5 consecutive days. We will provide equipment, materials, and accommodation. Application for the workshop with all documentation required (artistic portfolio and CV) must be sent to: artresidence@riakeburia.com. Portfolio must contain ceramic works made on pottery wheels and ceramic artworks of your own choosing.
