TEXTILE ART WORKSHOP
Ria Keburia Foundation is offering Textile artists and lovers an opportunity to take part in 5-day workshop at Art Residency, in Kachreti. During the workshop, participants will learn basic stitches and bexpand their thread vocabulary, while also touching the history of textiles from all over the world. The
course will cover traditional and contemporary materials through creative practices.
Participants will also learn to use different materials as well as to combine drawing and embroidery in one composition. The aim of the course is to be able to make samples based on the acquired knowledge.
The workshop will be conducted by embroidery artist, Ketevan Karchava and fashion designer Lasha Devdariani.
