Artists-at-Risk

During its almost 10 years of activity, Artists-at-Risk (AR) was supporting persecuted art practitioners, facilitating their safe passage from their countries of origin, and hosting them at AR-Residences.

AR has built a horizontal network of AR-Safe Havens around the world to act as a global advocate for art practitioners at risk. Since 2023 Ria Keburia A-i-R in collaboration with Artists-at-Risk has hosted three groups of international artists at risk.

IPureland

In 2023 Ria Keburia A-i-R in partnership with curatorial agency IPureland organized a year-long art residency and professional development program in Georgia for artists who had to leave their homeland for political or ideological reasons (including those who are persecuted or at risk in Russia for being in opposition).

Ria Keburia x IPureland offer a safe space for work and a professional development program. The program encompasses education, professional development, visits of international curators.
